We are very excited to announce our newest collaboration: On July 8, 2021, MICAS GARTEN will open at Badenerstrasse 790 in Zurich Altstetten - as an urban city garden with lots of seats, delicious food, bars and meeting areas at the entrance to the Limmat Valley. In addition, the hanging gardens, which were planned for the adventure garden on the Landiwiese for the 150th anniversary of the ZKB, enrich the place and create an inviting atmosphere. They are an example of the potential of urban city gardens: they not only provide the opportunity to linger in the midst of inner-city nature, but also offer space for education and can even improve the city’s biodiversity.

In the midst of these hanging gardens, NEA wants to create a platform for tangible sustainability issues. Our aim is to offer an attractive physical place for sustainability education and inspiration and by that to contribute to a sustainable and lively urban development. NEA is therefore currently looking for inspiring sustainability formats to be carried out in the gardens. Do you manage a sustainability project that needs a platform that allows for personal collaboration and exchange? ​
